Local Ski Swap - What To Get

So this Saturday there is a local ski swap that I haven't been to before. Wondering what you guys usually get and what I should look at to buy.

It really depends what is there. I went in kind of looking for some used k2 recoils, left with a nice pair of line blends that never saw a rail for $100 bucks, and got some free tele bindings out of it.

Is the ski swap in edmonton? If so you can get awesome deals on a lot of skis. Great place to get urban skis too.

Actually, never mind what I said. Almost all skis swaps have great deals.

I usually go and snag some cheap stuff. Look for whatever hardgoods you need. Jackets and stuff are not always the best.

Almost always the skis there will be super cheap. Sometimes you can even snag some unused pairs that stores can't sell. I always go to my local ski swaps for poles, as I usually end up breaking a couple pairs per season. Just don't buy any boots at them, they will almost always end up fitting incorrectly.

A lot of shops try to sell off their demo fleet from the last season, so you might be able to find some lightly used, well maintained powder skis.

dude just look around and buy something if you need it. ski swaps are a crapshoot by nature. no one here can tell you what you need
