How do you train living in the middle of nowhere?

Yo NSers

We all got lil tricks to get better at shredding in the off season. Some of us are blessed with living right next to amazing training facilities (myself included), but some of you grew up in small towns with nothing. What did you do to get sicker at riding in the shoulder season? How do you go from the flatland living in the summer to tossin dubs in the winter?

I've been riding my whole life and have always had access to tramps, diving blocks, gyms, bikes, trails and whatever else. I have been called away for work for 2 months before riding season and don't wanna lose that edge and air awareness. I'm gonna be living in the middle of nowhere in northern Saskatchewan without access to ANY training facilities, and I'm sure some other NSers have some tips.

It would probably be easier to get good in the middle of nowhere. So much open space and such.

My pool has a pool so I just backflip off the side and dub off of the 3 meter diving board that's pretty much my training in a nutshell

Yeah summer setups are key for rail game.

I am not too worried about that as I live in Revelstoke and have a sled and many a touring setup so rails aren't where I spend most of my time but diving boards it is!

The farm has hay bails. Anyone ever build sick jump setups out of hay bails haha?

Isn't that in a classic ski movie where the two guys constructed a megaramp and landing mostly using hay bails?

I have nothing, I don't ski in the summer, except if I want to climb a mountain to get at the 4" of slush at the 4000' mark. I live 4 hours away from a resort (alyeska) and have no tramps around except one that I can barely backflip on. I hope to build a summer setup next year though.
