Not enough speed on summer setup

I built a summer setup using turf, and it's not quite fast enough. I just wet the turf with a hose, and ski down currently.

What should I be doing to get more speed? I'm going to glide-wax my skis as well. Should I put soap on top of the turf too?

post a picture of it if you can. soap might help but the height and angle of your ramp is probably the most important part.

I crunch up bars of soap and place them peices on my setup.
