It's getting colder... advice on what leather boots to get.

NSers with a sense of fashion, which leather boots do you recommend for the cold days in winter? Bulky boots like red wings are out of the question.

Bean boots. Although if you are looking for a chukka style boot the timberland wodehouse is wonderful, but you do have to waterproof them yourself.

OP, scope out J shoes. Or even look on nordstrom at their selection. At least then you can get an idea of what you're looking for in the boots you want. Boots can be hard to find, and when you find a style you like, there's a good chance they'll be like $500+.

Or if you're willing to spend significantly more money, I would recommend my favorite pair of boots, the Diemme roccia. I have the kevlar version and they are my favorite pair of footwear.

theres these ones that nike make and they look like high tops but there really hiking boots i have a pair and they have lasted quite awhile. there also this adidas boot called the baluvet i think its made by the snowboarding divtion of adidias its kinda cool too

I fucking love my Nike hiking boots, but they are synthetic and they are hiking boots not really the type of boot OP is looking for.

I'd swoop some Timberland boots. Very solid choice.

Sorel boots are the warmest boots ive ever had, their mens selection isnt too big but I would definitely check them out.
