it's a gif from a video (i think in russia? i forget) where this SUV loses control cause the road is icy, veers to the right for a sec, then over corrects and slides into oncoming traffic just in time to be pretty much vaporized by an 18 wheeler

Nah bagels posted two motorcyclists looking at each other and the guy with the gopro overtook a honda and slammed into the fender, sending him flying for 3 feet until the camera cuts out

Actually, both were posted. I think I deleted a third as well. Not a big deal, but let's keep those out of this thread. That kind of imagery can ruin a day.
RubberSouli liked that. i think a lot of us can relate to that-- landing cliffs is so much different from landing jumps, it really takes some getting used to
yah, it was a fairly flat landing. Since I did that drop the last time I checked they actually had that drop bordered off so no one could do it any more. I dunno if it was too dangerous for people.

yeah, my first cliffs were all similar to that one. first two i thought i had to lean back more than i did, tried to fix that by landing bolts on the next one and had my first double eject somersault

Neither did I until I moved out west! First real mountain experience was in tits deep pow with zero vis, on shitty unwaxed park skis, with jello legs after 36 hours of travel. Still one of the best days ever.

I like it on top when skiing pow. It almost feels like floating.
