WHY THE FUCK ISN"T THERE A THREAD ON THIS


Heavily armed police have shut down Ferguson. There is a media blackout. Arresting reporters. The Missouri Militia supposedly has boots on the ground.

This is very fucked.

If you don't think the right decision was made here, then you are a complete idiot. This 6'4", 300 lb man got into a threatening altercation with a police officer and the cop was defending himself.Not that hard to see.


Also, people were running because there were shots fired after the No Indictment verdict was read.

honestly, this case was over before it started. There was basically one complete side of the story from the officer himself, and then a plethora of 'eyewitness' reports from people claiming to have seen it and all this bullshit. I'm not so sure don't shoot were the words that came out of Mike Browns mouth throughout the incident BUT as the ards played out he was unarmed.

The evidence provided by the prosecution (which i feel was really fighting for darren wilson) was minimal and slightly unreliable. Unless there was concrete evidence or even evidence with a few holes in favor of mike brown my post would be different.

I do think that the fact that there was 12 shots fired (2 in to a car, 10 into the victim) seemed slightly excessive to say the least.

and honestly either way the cookie crumbled someone would be hurt and in this case it was the majority.





and no my name has nothing to do with anything that actually occured in Ferguson, MO it is pure coincidence.

The President of the U.S. is the President of the U.S., regardless of race, and I would expect whoever is in that position to stick up for the justice system.

the other thing that i find funny is a lot of people are comparing it to middle eastern riots, riots in china for freedom etc...

All we can hope is that they hurt each other, and not innocent people not partaking in this animal like behavior. Its fucking sickening that it comes down to rioting and looting, only because it was a white cop so they assume it was racism. If this teenage thug was killed by another thug, we wouldnt have even heard about it, and all would be normal in ferguson right now

The fact that this rioting/looting occurred speaks to the people of Ferguson and the values that they really hold true. It truly is disgusting that these people feel the need to react to this by looting/rioting and destroying their town by committing more crimes. No one knows what went on in the court room, the US justice system (whether you like it or not), made a decision. I find it sickening that the black community is so one sided that they feel the need to destroy their town. These people are absolute savages. Forgetting about race, they are aboslute idiots. Insanely biased and not looking at the facts. Obviously his mom is going to paint him as the perfect kid....the kid had a criminal background.

I really don't understand what you're getting at. I mentioned his size because it illustrates how he wasn't some young boy that most media outlets have made him out to be. Also, since he was a criminal performing criminal acts and physically threatening an officer, his size does matter since it adds to the situation, so it really isn't me 'jumping to conclusions'?

im saying that 300 pound people aren't the most athletic people and don't really pose a threat of close quarter combat. im not taking sides here but i am guessing there could have been a smarter way for officer wilson to approach the situation

Considering Brown had forcefully robbed a convenience store minutes before the altercation happened, I don't think it's that unreasonable to call him dangerous.

I honestly don't even care much about the shooting but rather how these people react to such situations. I blame things like this on a lack of leadership at the government, local, and family level. You don't ever hear about this happening in Muskogee, OK or Laramie, WY, ect... and that is because there are strong values and structures within the governments (Local and state) and family units. I know many hardworking black people in my community, hell my doctor is black. But you can distinctly tell the difference between them and those present in Ferguson. The same can be said about almost every race, it just seems to be more of an issue within the black community. Hopefully something is done in the future to better deal with this issue.

Cops in mixed race cities have always been really cool to me. I get treated far differently than I would if I was black. I like it. Im also an asshole watching this shit on TV about to rip a bong.

I am just saying that I think its bullshit that cops murdered an unarmed kid and that the cop won't be prosecuted. And its bad enough that the demonstrations aren't not to be expected. Most of these people in the streets have relatives in jail for non violent crimes like weed do you know the incarcertion rate for black people in places like MO? Going to jail for a black kid in Ferguson is like going to college for a kid posting on newschoolers. SO FUCK OFF.

I just turned on coverage of this. They interviewed some woman in times square. She's like "As a black woman, a black woman of color..." As opposed to what? A white woman of color? Or a black woman not of color? People need to think before they speak.

And what animals they are, in Ferguson. No I'm not trying to be racist. There's people of all races there. A court makes a decision and they go proceed to burn down their town? Sounds like the appropriate response.

The real issue here has nothing to do with the grand jury's decision. The real issue is the fact that an entire community feels like the police are out to get them. It's not unjustified (check out some of these numbers http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2014/08/10-insane-numbers-ferguson-killing). The real thing we should be talking about is what conditions led us to be in the situation that we're in today. Not about how MB was a 300 lb "thug," not about how the protesters in Ferguson are "savages" (honestly NSG, I'm pretty surprised and disgusted at how much racism you're willing to produce/tolerate), but what could lead a community to react so strongly to something like this.

The president's job isn't to defend the status quo. If he thinks it's flawed it's his job to fix it. He won't and shouldn't defend a system with which he's unhappy.
