im kinda new to skiing and i am putting 120 towards boots thats all i need i got skis and bindings but my boots dont fit anymore whats good for 120?`
i had something funny to say but i forgot it.

I dont know, I got rossi salto boots for 150 canadian, I know they arent good for newschool skiing but they are super comfy

actualy Salto's would be pretty good for park. they aren't too stiff or anything. They'd be much worse for racing/extreme backcountry.

skiing costs money. for $120 your going to $120 worth of boot. Either a shitty model, used, or something that doesn't fit properly. Boots IMO are the one thing you really shouldn't skimp on, spending some time at a good shop getting a boot that fits you properly and matches the kind of skiing you will do more for your skiing than new ski's or any other piece of equipment

id say go to a shop find the boot that you find fits your foot the best..make sure to get the exact size if not a half size smaller because it will pack out but most importantly get what feels the best for you

'covered bridge sports' in NH has some good deals

i got my dalbello v10's there marked down from $475 to 300 (not on sale just because this shop kicks ass)

i definately second or third that you should spend the most amount of tiem lookign at boots, and oh yea for skis and other equipement you can learn alot from reviews, but for boots they're actually going ON YOUR FOOT so reviews are nice fro performace etc. but you can learn nothing about how it fits, which is the most importatnt thing. i lost interest in skiing because my boots sucked so much

you can get really good hiking boots for 150. you can't ski in them; but you can walk to the hill in them.

a really good boot could cost 600$ or more, so try to look for boots from previous seasons, like the lange banshee 8 from a couple of years ago.

yah, i got a pair of boots last season for 150, and they were good for the first few times out, but then they just started to hurt. This year i have new lange CRL 80 FR boots that i got on sale for 450, down from 600 and i could tell the diffrence the second i put them on. When i bought my last boots i was like you, with out a lot of money, so i didnt even try on the more expencive ones... but your boots should probaly be the most expencive part of your setup.

before i buy a boot ill try it on for an hour, walk around, let it pack a little before i decide how it feels. last year my two big twonails BOTH fell out because of bad boots

I bought some Rossi Saltos for cheap a couple of years ago. They were alright when i first got them, but they felt much better once i put in a custom footbed and booster strap. There good boots in my opinion, i have no problem doing anything and there super comfy now(the aftermarket stuff i put in).

I'm reeeeeeeeeeally cheap so I payed $35 for my lange F7's and I love them. My local shop also has used Nordica Beasts for $90. Look on ebay

yeah you will have to put more money in to it, depends on how high performance you want your boot to be, id say a boot for 600 is pretty unecessery if you dont like really stiff boots.
Id go with something cheaper like in beetween 400 - 450 price range then you will get a comfy boot with medium flex and nice footgrip.
And go to your store talk to a salesman, tell him how your foot is, meisure your foot, tell him how you ride and how you want to advance and how you want your boot to perform etc.
Then try em on and try as many models as possible.
Then decide.
