Whats the difference between a cork 3 on tramp and a flat 3 on tramp

I'm not sure, but i think a cork 3 is just an off axis 360, and not inverted, whereas a flat 3, the highest point of the flip your body is flat, as the name suggests. Not 100% sure so don't rely on me.

cork 3 is an off axis 360, flat is a mix of a backflip and a lincoln that allows you to "spin" 360 degrees without really trying

cork 3s on tramps are fuckin hard. they work way better on skis. I've seen people be able to cork 10 or dub but not be able to cork 3 on tramp

Flat 5 is more flippy you go more backwards.
Rodeo 5 is more of a spin and less of a flip you go more sideways and around.

flat 5 is essentially just a flat3 with an extra 180 at the end altho you could just land the flat 3 if you get the idea.

Ro5 (even tho you can do ro3) flows more, and if you throw it the classic way, you should come around to 540 in one motion and wouldn't have been able to land before.

Main difference between them is the throw: rodeo you actually set a spin and your head is never really inverted. Flat you basically throw your legs to the side and flip, so fully inverted at some point.

Flat5 (it's hard to find good ones, cos most of them are actually rodeo 5s):
this one here is a flat but not inverted that much, if you watch some candide footage, he does his flats pretty inverted, coolest way imo.

@op, throwing corks3 on the tramp is soooo hard. I can get flat3 easy every time, but i've tried cork3 (with tutorials and shit) and i can never land them, or always take them to 540. It's cos when you do a cork3 on snow, you use the carve in a lot and if the landing was flat you wouldn't be able to land (as in you're inclined forward, so hard to land on tramp).

difference between them is pretty big, cork3 is a spin set backwards, where you never invert (which is why it's so hard on tramp, cos on a 360 it's hard to be off axis and come back on axis without flipping) whereas in flat3 you throw your legs up and to the side, keeping your head "flat" and invert quickly. Between a lincoln and a backflip.

Cork3: this is the only vid of cork3s on tramp out there imo, he does them pretty damn well.

Rodeos are fully inverted meaning that your feet are, at one point, directly above your head whereas in a flat 5 you are never fully inverted and your head is never below your feet.

Those are some ugly cork 3's... but they are super fun once you learn them on tramp and can actually help you learn them on skis (I understand they are very different but they helped me)

It's quite simple really...cork is belly down while flat and rodeo are belly up. Rodeo is flippier than flat.

The easiest way to tell is look at where they are spotting, if they can see there landing the whole time it's a cork, if the can not see there landing then it's a flat spin.

Most of those are less inverted cork3s, some less inverted flats too. Mostly corks tho.

your flat was set way to much back to look real steely. go more lincoln and it will look better.
