MLJWell how much you can butter is really reliant on how strong you are and how flexy your skis are. If you think your boots flex too much, get some stiffer tongues. What skis have you got? I used to have a hard time on stiffer skis, then i got al dentes ad i could butter all ovee the place.
SDrvperi have 6 tongues as-well and i can get a decent butter going. Gotta do up those boots tight to help reduce the flex a bit? Also weight and skis?

The thing is, throughout the day, my boots loosen. I tighten them as far as they can go at the shin at the start of the day.
SDrvperDo you do the power strap at the top up tight? I have my FT's at full on every buckle aha. You need some speed and commitment to get right ive the tips of the skis. Its also hard to make your skis flex as much as lets say max hill. That comes with super soft skis and lots of practice, for the average day butter even a little flex is fine
