Weird smelling farts

So I just farted and now it smells like garlic. I had meatballs with garlic in them for dinner but my dad just made the meatballs so maybe it was from baking the garlic? Or does my fart actually smell like garlic?

I need a scientist's explanation and I know there is no area more densely populated with scientists than summer non ski gabber

WHat you eat is what you digest. What your shit consists of is what you ate previously. Farts are small pieces of shit being projected from your ass into the air. Digested garlic from your meal is in your shit and when you fart the shit particles contained small particles of garlic in them.

Think of it this way. Your shit is going to stink no matter what. If you eat something with an odor that overpowers the stink of shit, then it's most likely going to smell like the substance that overpowers it. Also, a lot of food loses its odor and properties as you digest it. Garlic however does not lose it's odor property. Kind of like how corn doesn't lose its physical property.
