Famous Urban Spot Selfies/Pics You Took

Since someone told me I should make a thread about this, I will do it. Post pictures of yourself at famous urban spots or pictures you have taken of famous urban spots.

Since I live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, I basically have a goldmine right in my backyard so I will start:


Sean Jordan's Elbow to Quad kink (mutiny)


Me on Clayton's quad (mutiny)


Clayton quad 2.0 (mutiny)


Communal DFD (eye trip, mutiny, many others)


Gap to down rail (wallisch project holla)


Cheddar's rail to redirect wall tranny (partly cloudy)


Ahmet's quad (flip the script)


Green monster (Network, new 4bi9 movie)


Huge DFD (mutiny, new level 1 and 4bi9 movies) ooo looks like someone didn't clean up

The one quad kink is at 10:15 of this video. I only have 2 shots in this one but if you don't mind snowboarding there are quite a few famous spots in here

.ZT.It's too bad it doesn't snow enough in the netherlands to even consider hitting it. You could get the snow from the landgraaf indoor skiing place though haha.

We have snow, also slight detail, next to the stairs is actually the Landgraaf indoor slope.



SauhistusI was there on vacation a couple years ago and saw that rail, unfortunately it's not hittable. The camera angle makes it look like it is a multikink, but from a different angle you can see it has gaps on the ''flat'' parts:


I actually completly forgot about that, let's call it an extra challenge then.

MidsYou could cruise around for 5 mins and end up finding like 10 rails you could hit.


This has happened to me about 5 times, also I like to cruise around on google street view. Shit, I have an unhealthy obsession with google street view and urban, I'm not exaggerating when I say I have a google map of 300 spots in Minnesota...

^Also those Duluth pics above are super sick! Those red rails look pretty fun, especially hitting them as up rails.

I've seen all the spots poor boyz have hit in spokane they are gnarly as fuck and would take some balls especially LJ's insane elbow kinked monster rail.

This! I couldn't find a spot that I knew of but you just reminded me of it, so I looked it up on google earth.

I don't know if it's famous for anything, but it's pretty sick.

same with me, ever since I saw it last summer, Ive been dying to hit it. I have too much school work this year, but i think next winter break i'll set it up and try to get some sick clips.

You inspired me to dig this up. In 2011 we hit the streets of Duluth pretty hard. That drop rail was Austin's before it was Clayton's. For a real history lesson watch Level 1's Shanghai Six. I think Dave Crichton was the first to hit that on film.

Got more spots as well as a fun story.

EYE TRIP!


Here's a rail that I know a local crew hit a while ago, it's on one of the one shot wednesdays on the Minnesota Represent Show's youtube channel.


My friend runs into Steve Stepp and the 4bi9 crew at Leann Chins in March.... He tells steve that I know a lot of spots, then my friend tells me I should message steve on facebook and give him a couple spots for them to hit. I give him the long mellow rail right away (so maybe I could sesh with them because that's in my ability level), he says he wants more gnar.

So I recall a rail I saw a few years back when I was a gaper but still had an unhealthy obsession with rails. Not knowing anything about how doable it was, just thinking "woah! that's a big rail". I send him the pic, he says he'll probably check it out the next day if they get through all the spots they want to hit.

I visit the spot the next day just to check if they are there- what kind of person wouldn't. I see the rail and think "that can't be it that's way steeper than I remember", unfortunately there was pretty much no snow left and the rail was a 45+ degree 80ft+ long 6 kink. Chance of death 50%. Basically I messaged steve back that I checked it out and it would be in his own best interests to stay away unless he's got Cam Riley on steroids and amphetamines with him.

Anyways, I'm stoked to see their new movie and the spots they hit.

that rail is so gnarly. i think curves increase the technicality and danger of a rail by about 3 times
