o.k. so finally going to get around to building those skis. I have had done a tone of work laminating and pressing so this should be a walk in the park. However I would love to find a pre-made templet for a ski with top profile and press mold profile. Looking for a 170 to 175 with a 100 to 105 under foot with a slight rocker, mostly a back country skin trail ski. Yea I know you can draw something up on cad and with other tools but want to find a proven profile so i can use it as a benchmark to go forward with other changes. Anyone have any knowledge of a site where I could pull some patterns from.

I don't have good site but somewhere on ski builders, I think it's under the articles section there is a page where some one reaserched the correlation between different components of a ski eg as stiffness goes up turn radii us goes down. And they found that there is little to no pattern. I will try and find it later but basically what it means is the industry is fulling around with this stuff as much as you or me and so there are no real guidelines on ski design so be creative and make something that's doable but crazy! I am building a completely symmetrical pow ski.
