Trouble popping with flips?

Unless I really emphasize the pop a ton on backflips, lincolns, and flatspins, I always sling super fast and over rotate. I cant get the pop on flatspins i always sling. I can only pop when i tuck on backflips, when i try to layout i over rotate and sling? what should i do?

so when you lay out you over rotate but when you tuck you don't? makes sense
