I know it's a long ways away, but what's gonna happen at Pyongchang, South Korea?
-will they have snow?
-will anyone be able to represent South Korea?
-will Kim Jong Un still be crazy?
-will he nuke the Olympics?

sport is still progressing fast enough that in 4 years the top comp skiers will be people we haven't heard of yet.

Sort of like 4 years ago no one had heard of TYW or Goepper.

The Chinese only really put resources into sports they know they can dominate. Stuff that is very controlled, clearly judged and easy to set up a grinder style development system. Despite being very good at other acrobatic/gymnastic type sports, including aerials, they will not be excelling in freeskiing in the near future as it would be too expensive and high risk for little reward.
