umm, not really a FIS sucks post, but could someone explain to me how it matters? I don't see FIS messing up the X-Games, US Freeskiing Open, Orage Big Air, Red Bull comps, etc. It's not like they can stop skiiers from making movies and stuff either. So what difference does it make if they do suck?

umm, that doesnt really answer my question. so what if world cup sucks. so what if there's 5000 shitty comps out there. i dont watch slalom, gs, long jumping, nordic skiing, ski and shoot, and lots of other events. but that doesn't mean there aren't plenty of good comps (see above post).

i had the choice to keep on racing and get into the FIS shit, but thats when i quit, its to stingint and tight, i have a better chance at winning the x-games anyways
