Due to the disappointment by the general NS public about the other Fresh Veggies thread not being about actual Fresh Veggies I felt the need to make an actual fresh vegetable thread.

Do you prefer fresh or canned?

Is fresh or canned better in casserole?

Why is it so much more satisfactory to eat fresh veggies from your own garden?

it's very rewarding eating veggies out of the garden that you planted earlier in the summer. i haven't done it yet but I'd like to eventually grow all my own veggies n can them for winter. homemade pickles are the shit.
it's cheaper, healthier, tastier, and you know where your food came from. i also want some hens at some point. build em a badass chicken coop.
