How the hell do you shower with a bummed knee

I feel like I'm a toddler learning how to stand or something. There has got to be an easier way to do this.

If it's bummed, you just have to cheer it up first. Then you should be able to shower without issues.

McDavid Dual Disk, Doc gave me this one until I go to the orthopedic surgeon. Pretty sure you can get one at CVS.

just take off the brace, then put it back on?

either that or wrap it in saran wrap and tape the borders. that's what we do in the hospital for patients' IVs/casts/whatever. should be fine

Or a trash bag and duct tape. You can wrap the top of the bag in horse tape first so the tape doesn't touch your leg. Or just rip the tape off quickly.

-Position brace at  45 degree angle

after i had surgery with open wounds still, i would wrap my knee in syran wrap. i also couldnt stand on it though so i would have to set a chair up in the shower for a week or so. ditch the brace and unless you've had surgery, just stand pretty much on your good leg and use the bad one solely for balance

if its just a brace you can get at a walgreens/cvs/etc, do you really need it to stand? they dont do a ton so i find it hard to believe a $20 brace makes the difference between standing or not

probably not an option, especially if she's at college. after i had surgery, i think i went like 4 days without a shower, and i felt like shit, and i was basically confined to my couch

After my ACL surgery i was in so much pain that i could bearly stand with my crouches for like 2 weeks.
For showering, just sit down and you should be fine :)
But getting up is something different... good luck!

Believe me it was a good decision on their part. Everybody on my floor in rez knew to avoid our bathtubs like the plague. They were solely used for puking in and shower sex.

One time i hurt my leg super bad and could only take baths beause of m cast and my aprents saw my penis when i was getting out of the bath adn it was super embarassing beause i was at the age where that stuff is super embarrassing and i tried to cover it with a waschcloth like it wasnt a big deal but they totally knew i was trying to cover my peener but they saw it anyway and they were probably like "damn waht have we done wrong. our son has a tiny peener and veggies" but its not that small it's pretty big according to my grlfriend but she probably would say that even if it was small because she loves me and i give her good sex that makes her have cums

There should be a handicapped shower with the pull down bench seat. I used to use it on extremely hungover mornings during my college days hahaha

Is this a balance problem or do you have shit going on where you can't get your knee wet? If you can't get it wet bag it and duct tape it. If it's a balance issue than I don't understand this.
