i have 1080s and the same thing happens to me sometimes after i ride real hard for several days. luck you...you're experiencing a form of shin bang, only reverse. it sucks!! it could just be the boots, but it's mainly from landing/skiing backseat. try tightening the boots at the top...if more support is needed, get some Booster straps...they helped me a bunch with the pain

^^^^^^^^^ i had that happen to me. but then you you break in the boot, it always reminds me to stay centered over the ski tho, cus u can get boot pain from skiing wrong. just give it a week or too. THE CARPET TEST DOESNT WORK THAT GREAT! haha.
