I've recently heard a lot that wearing the popular early 2000s shoe "Heelys" can increase your chance of picking up women. What do you think?

I feel like that actually would work. A solid conversation starter. When I was in res, I had some raucous slippers and people would always comment on them (for better or for worse).

heelys weighted like 5 pounds...... and were only fun in grocery stores

now soaps-----were discrete and schools had no clue you were wearing recreational shoes
