For those of you who have summer setups or went to camps, what new tricks did you learn? I didn't get to go to any camps or indoor skiing facilities but I built a jib setup in my back yard, and I went from not being able to slide a rail to being able to k-fed so I'm pretty fuckin pumped about that. What about you guys?
This summer I progressed my bank account which will help in the steeze department come winter. And other than that, I just tried to keep my drinking level where it should be so I won't miss morning skiing due to hangovers.
Pretty successful summer I'd say.
"Being serious about being serious is seriously serious ... take note and hopefully the serious skiing world will not cave in on itself."
Really? The first looked like a rodeo 5, the second looked like a switch underflip 5. I could be wrong but it looks like the first one you threw the spin sideways + a 180 and the second one was halfway between a backflip and a lincoln + a 180 which is an underflip 5
I made a summer jib setup but I wasn't able to progress as much as I wanted to for two reasons. 1. My parents made me take down my setup after I was done everytime and is a PAIN to set up by yourself. 2. My rail is only 7 feet long which is WAY to short to learn that much new stuff.
But nonetheless it's skiing in the summer so it's still always fun
"Every time it snows my dick takes a fuckin beating....really fuckin HARD"
i built the frame for my rail and I never put on the pvc, so I made no progress this year
If you are mutual friends with tom wallisch, steve stepp, ec headwear, saga outerwear, stept productions, ian cosco or any other popular person you added on FB because you're a 15 year old douche, stop adding me.

I had to pay for half of mine, I am pretty lucky that my parents would pay half though. At camp there were kids who went for more three sessions and didn't have to pay anything, which I think is really dang spoiled.
But I know that me and a lot of the kids I went with had to earn it. Most summer jobs pay enough to get you a session at a camp though...
I got knee surgery. Did a 450 on pretzle 2 out on my blades before it though.

He's going fast I'm telling you.. like...

Ya thats what i thought too, i always thought it was a switch rodeo, just a really flippy one
"Yeah bro, i can't wait to hang out with you while you get sweet action shots of your groomer turns and using the lips onto rails as jumps with your GoPro that is surgically attached to your empty skull" -skiierman to ny300z
Still in highschool as well, work for minimum wage at dunkin donuts. On top of gas I have to pay for my phone, eventual college, car payment, car insurance, and ski gear. After all that 1500 every couple months is pretty much nothing.
Learned a bunch this summer. Here is an edit. + k for embed.
"If you were to assemble a United States of Playground you would need a place to locate a capital; a place where the landscape was created by Dr. Seuss with a backhoe. A place where it is possible to wake up in summertime and drive to winter. In short, you would need Utah."-Jonny Moseley
That was actually super sick, now I want to see you do the switch Lincoln on purpose ;)
I think that Schlopy was sent from the future by Newschoolers version 16.7, which has gained consciousness and decided to destroy skiing's past in order to win the style vs. Tech argument in the future.
