Also, on the ID subject... If I get caught driving without an ID, I can still drive... that's not a problem at all. I might get a ticket and have to show it in court, but you can drive away without an ID (least in the states I've lived in)
So, if I can drive without an ID - which is an actual by-law requirement of such, who's to say I can't vote.
Voting is a right. Driving is a privilege. See where I'm getting at? As a citizen, it's a constitutional RIGHT. Whether you have a piece of plastic or not. But, then again, Nazi Germany, Facist Italy, and the Soviet Union all required you to show proof of your shit just to get around... seemed to work out well for everyone, right?
