what do you think is the best way to cross train for skiing? i would probably say blading.

go to the gym. the only people who make fun of strong people is weak people. plus being strong makes skiing a loootttt easier

Ultimately the best exercise for skiing is skiing because it uses a ton of muscles you rarely do in other sports. That said, the best options are biking and leg exercises at the gym (squats, cleans, and box jumps are good).Also work on muscles that deal with balance. Squats on a balance ball are good, as is slacklining. Also remember to do core work. Yoga or Pilates isn't a bad idea or you really are dedicated
