Trading Places: NS Style

Hello Brethren,

As of late, I've been discussing becoming a foreign exchange student for my last years of high school. I've looked at several outbound programs, all of which are ten to fifteen thousand per semester. Unfortunately, I'm not Splice and cannot afford it.

However it got me thinking on cheaper solutions.
Why not go live with someone I know and save money?
Then I thought Why not bring NS in on this?
Why not trade places with some other kid on NS?

My Idea is to create a web series chronicling the journey/struggle of two skiers trading lives. It would portray the everyday life of young skiers in unknown territory as well as on and off hill shenanigans.

Now-

Would anyone even watch this show?

Is anybody interested in possibly being a part of this project?

Suggestions/questions/comments/criticism welcome

I think it would be way sicker with pros, like here's some which I think would be uber sick, imagine just like 10 minute long episodes swapping to completely different skiing environments

wouldnt most pros live kinda similar lives? so that wouldnt be as good

im thinking like OP said...like me for instance, a 31yr old guy from NY who works all the time and tries to ski as much as he could while juggling work and the fact he's in NY with some say 16yr old kid from Utah...I can live at his house his mom can make me dinner and wash my clothes and i could ski pow all day.....he can come work as a manager of IT and pay my bills and keep up my apt haha

Well the point of wife swap I think is to have each family learn from the other wife. Thats why they pick a lower class wife, and a well off wife. They learn from each other. So how would you put that into skiing terms? and yes I have watched wife swap before, its kinda funny.

It would be interesting to see a park rat and a racer struggle at the other one's sport. Would make both of them better skiers though.

Great idea. No question this would be very entertaining. My parents housed kids from the East Coast when I was in high school. Not sure how cool they would have been to have a camera crew roaming around all the time. Season ideas would be to transplant an east and west coast skier.

Also switching a North American for an Ausi would be great. Logistically it could be easier too, unless it was key to document their exploits ate the same time.

If i was still in italy i would trade with someone in Utah. Let me go skiing and you try to not go crazy and have to drive for 3.5 hours if you want to ski.
To bad I'm back in Seattle. Actually not really haha

it would be funded by the individuals wishing to participate. It would be nice to get a little funding from sponsors interested in promoting themselves. Any takers?

There's literally no way this could ever work. The logistics of the situation are just so fucked and considering what would have to go into this it's about as far-fetched as it gets.
