Heya guys and gals,
Have more time off work than I thought I would this summer, so I'm offering Speedflying instruction to those with an athletic background and a drive to get into canopy sports. Making the decision to get trained up was one of the best I've made, and my passion for speedflying and speedriding rivals that for skiing, although the two dovetail really well.
If you're not familiar with Speedflying, check out an edit here I put out this summer, and here for an edit from Speedriding this past winter.
Speedflying has some heavy risks that must be taken into account, but they can be combatted successfully by getting the appropriate training and using good judgement (just like backcountry skiing). This is the sport for those who have dreams of flying.
I'm based in Fairbanks right now, although I'm routinely traveling around the state. Currently I'm available Friday-Sunday pretty much every week, although in September my time will be reduced until after classes Mon-Fri and full days Sat and Sun.
Feel free to hit me up at prbrownie@gmail.com if you think Speedflying is right for you. People wanting to come check it out for a day before they commit to anything are always welcome.
Blue skies!
