I am pretty sold on the Chronics but still dont know which pair to get. I want a ski that is really good for butters but not too soft that its just stupid. Also something that can hit the groomers and shred on a powder day.The Chronics have sounded pretty good but i just want to know if the Thalls or Afterbangs are any better for my situation.

the chronics fit your criteria the best out of the 3. they will preform admirably inside and out of the park whereas the thalls and abangs are a bit more park oriented.

Well yeah of the three the cronic will be the only one you can really rip around the whole moutain. The afterbang is too soft to push hard in hardpack. The thall can rip a softer groomer but is not great in powder so that leaves the chronic. But of the three the chronic will be the least buttery in the park.

From what I've heard/seen, afterbangs are also made to be a cheaper park ski. So I'm not sure how hard you're going, but I haven't heard anyone ever talk about how great their afterbangs are and how they've lasted 3 seasons etc... But I also have never ridden any of the three either so it's up to you how seriously you wanna take what I have to say.
