Whats the best genre of music to make an edit to.
This question always comes to mind and i haven't found a really good answer yet. I guess most genres would be alright but is there any that just ranks superiority over the others?
(What are your opinions on it.) meant to add that in to the end
African tribal music
"Yeah fuck dem fo bustin me and my niggaz smokin dat OG chronakush kush OG berry hash my dog ye"-Theron.
That's exactly what i was thinking. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JSHtU9EitvE this is the song i was thinking of using.
Anything but gangster rap. Instrumentals of some songs work great.
But gangster rap is cool.
"...blah blah blah blah blah interviews, blah blah blah serious skiing." ~Steve Stepp
whatever music you like
Forget a boss
A nine to five and paying bills
I'd rather get my kicks
Shredding mountains, waves and hills
yeah i feel that. ive never thought that red man or ghost face really fit a ski edit.
shitty rap music is definitely the most popular genre
By shitty do you mean that sarcastically or that wake flocka shit
I love an edit that uses a classy old school song. Like when sean pettit used for your love in his realski backcountry edit. Which btw was absolutely nasty
What it is.

All aboard the ruckus bus.
"You think you die alone, but that's not true. Nobody is alone in this world. We have to coexist and take care of each other." -Azusa Hayano
I totally agree with that statement.
youll find that the better edits usually wont be edited to gangsta rap, a few exceptions ofcourse. id say that its a alot harder to edit to the likes of Alt-j because the filming needs to be good aswell which i why youll find alot of people use rap
Its totally dependent on the type of skier in the edit. Good rap sometimes works for park, but not always. Classic rock and long rifts work well for big mountain. And playful and slower music I think work well for powder edits. Doing something original is always a good plan.
Metal. Not shitty screamo bullshit, straight metal, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, shit like that. If you're not using metal then you're a pussy.
"lets start breaking shit."
ayyy bby guel its ya boi bangs here knawmsayn!!!
It depends on the style of filming /thread
"Op is most retarded and just talking shit about shit he doesn't know, classic 518 pos ns newb" -TheClap
"because fireworks didn't exist in 1776" -Watts
To me it depends on the edit and what style you're doing. I mean it's weird because some edits could literally change the total theme just by the music. Like some powder edits have really chill reggae or chillstep or just acoustic music, but you throw in dubstep or metal and it turns from calm to totally badass. It seems that the best music to me really depends on my mood.
Get the sand out of your vagina
"Damn son, where'd you find this?" Or perhaps, "true exclusive"
I've always wanted to use the ghostbusters theme in an edit. Copyright would be a bitch though
you have obviously never got drunk, grabbed both your nuts and squished them to the top of your dong, took a picture, sent it to everyone you knew and said "call 911, my penis is on upside down again".
