i think all you ski movie producers out their need to diversify the musical selections in ski movies.

first off i want to hear some classical, ostness made it work. then i want to hear some Queen. also, i want a nice selection of euro-metal... in-flames, dimmu borgir, in flames, whatever. if i knew good skiers and had good equipment and new what i was doing, id do it, but i dont so i wont.

oh yeah, muse too, and more billy idol and social distortion, and that song Sinnerman that Talib Kwelli uses for the beat to Get By, the one in the Thomas Crowne Affair and uh...shook ones part one... cash brown... maybe some stones or bob dylan...

if you used a streets song you'd have to choose carefully; a lot of mike skinner's beats are so raw it might be hard to get them to flow with a segment, but with a skillful editor behind it all it could work. but otherwise.

the postal service - natural anthem. (i can totally imagine somebody busting backcountry fatty cork 3's to this song. it would take a good skier to make this song work. lots of bc, not so much park or big mountain)

Techno is rather difficult, but if used correctly can produce a very cool effect. I'm makin a ski movie for one of my classes with nothing but techno, and in parts it's soooooo cool but in others its kinda lame.

yeah I love final countdown ... even if they are the sissiest of metal bands. But I plan to use some Duran Duran in future films ... just cause Duran Duran is sweet. Jazz would work very well, at least for me ... cause I prefer to be watching something while listening to Jazz.

Theres some songs by slipknot that would kinda fit into the whole skiing thing i dunno how other would think of htos but they do have some pretty sweet songs like Wait and bleed, and vermillion pt. 1&2. butr some megadeth would be kinda cool. id love to hear some avenged sevenfold, As I lay dying, atryu, Rolling stones(mostly paint it black), Tv on the radio, and.... oh the song O fortuna would be such a kick ass song the classical version or the remixed version... if any one has the remixed version of O Fortuna i want to kno what its called because i faound some differant versions and i heard a kick ass version on Slednecks7 and I Wanna know what its called. tool might be kinda cool. oh and 'sweatshop union-dont mind' us is a wicked song... thats my two cents and if i can add i'll add some bands that would be cool to hear.
