Who do you guys think are the next generation of pros? I'm gonna say Tom Goodhue. Heres his 12/13 edit

He's only like 13 or 14 and he rips

Also shoutout to Goodhue family for producing some talented children. Brothers Chris and Sam (I think)
I have no clue who they are personally, but Tom is defiantly going somewhere.

Just wait until Freesking hits the Olympics. Its gonna attract so many more people, which is awesome because its going to put more money in our industry.

I think skiing in general though is going to favor competition less, while kids who head to the streets and film with their friends are going to develop more and more of a following. Its all about hitting extremely unique features you find in urban settings and bringing back some photos and video for the world to see. That's where I would place my bets

Kid named Ryan who rides at Boulder... he's like 12 with sponsorships from FT, POC, and K2. And he's on Boulder's park team. I met him once, he seemed pretty nice. Busts out hippie killers like nbd

yea i've ridden with him too and hes deffinitly someone to look out for. He also has the hype that surrounds boulder on his side with sean jordan coming out of there and their whole park team.

Giant douche level? Are you fucking kidding me? He's a twelve year old kid having fun you peice of shit. Have you even met the kid? Hes one of the most mature and respectful little dudes I have ever met.

Just one example - At woodward Tahoe there is always a group of kids throwing shit down and in this situation they were kind of picking on a kid who wasn't quite on the same level as them. Aspen notices this and steps in. He says to the other kids that they need to chill out and stop picking on this one kid. He literally diffuses the whole situation by himself and I'm sure made the bullied kids day. This kind of maturity from a 12 year old is not common, yet you call him a douche? Kill yourself.

the thing is is that at a young age you can get really good really fast, so most of them probably are totally un-noteworthy right now. a 15 year old kid who skis a lot and really tries to learn can go from just learning rodeos to doing dubs and spinning both ways in like 2 seasons, especially if they are going to camps in the summer. look at how fast wallisch got good.

I'm not sure I agree, while I'd prefer people film more and compete less, I just don't see it happening. Every single person I ski with has basically one goal, ski, compete, all to try and get sponsored, just not my thing, but It clearly is to some.
