Well here we go again. The season begins August 18th, but there's still plenty going on in the meantime!


Transfer season is in full swing, with various sources reporting everything under the sun with absolutely no basis.

And seemingly every team is going on tour of somewhere, because evidently teams like Norwich need to bolster their support in places like southern California and Malaysia.


Will Manchester United keep the title?
Will Manchester City not be a mess?
Will Chelsea's Jose Mourinho get himself sacked by Christmas?
Will Arsenal be stuck waiting another season to win a trophy?
Will Tottenham finally get a champions league spot?

Here's to a hopefully entertaining season with plenty of great action leading up the BRAZIL 2014!

Drogba coming back to Chelsea is a great storyline too! Arsenal sure do have their work cut out for them, hopefully they can sign a big striker in January to better their chances.

I like Giroud, but he just doesn't cut it for Arsenal in that position. Balotelli sure would make a tasty signing; or even Draxler from Schalke and then have Wenger mold him to a False 9 sort of position. I was opposed to signing Suarez in the beginning of the year, its a shame that didn't work out now looking at how he's playing.

manchester united, getting off the easiest I think. As usual.


There are some tasty matches lined up though.


Wouldn't expect Arsenal to sign a balotelli type player though. Knowing Arsene, he'll sign some 2nd rate old player or an unheard of younger player and expect that to carry us.

Hopefully he's changed with the purchase of Ozil and a taste of the top of the league. He pushed hard for Suarez so Balotelli's "bad rep" certainly wouldn't waiver Arsene. The Man City game should have woken him up to this campaign as well, we have to play Bayern who were beaten by City. Hopefully he puts two and two together. Alot will ride on this weeks game against Chelsea as well; hopefully we'll get a result.

Been away from this thread forever since I haven't been watching the games because college. But United are being fucking pathetic this year so all I can do is hope they get top 4 and keep looking forward to the WC

ya both were lunging, one was horribly late tho. HUGE difference. even if youre a chelsea fan i dunno how you cannot see that as a red. let alone not even a call

from that video it didn't look that late at all. By the time arteta had kicked it away mikel couldn't stop. It was only a fraction of a second anyways

to be fair you have to agree mikel was on his line sliding to the left of the screen towards the ball. Then arteta slides in and pokes the ball out, causing mikel to crash into him. You can't say that is mikels fault, or that his challenge was intentionally dangerous.

Indeed. He certainly seems to be scoring important goals, both against Hull and Cardiff which have helped towards the 3 points. Still, we need to sign at least another striker this transfer window.

Ya ifs still rather sign someone who can take over for giroud but it looks like there are not too many world class players up for grabs in the transfer window. Definitely had me scared this morning. I was so hungover when I was watching too it hurt up until the 88th haha

Not good news at all. He came back from injury on a mission and was playing great...now this BS. It pretty much guarantees a signing in January though. Who would you guys like to see signed?

I would love Balotelli but a more realistic option is probably Diego Costa.

They're in a shitty situation. I don't think Costa is going to leave mid season when he is absolutely killing it and his team is tied for first(at least I think they still are). I really hope they get Berba. I absolutely love Berba and feel like he needs to get the fuck out of the shithole that has Fulham has become. Plus I think he'll be pretty damn cheap

I feel for Walcott, ACLs are a bitch injury. He did put out some impressive play on Saturday.

I'd love to see Wenger bring in Balotelli, but his "off pitch" antics are just no.
