Need help with Sleeping problems

It all started when I went to bed at 3 am one day. For the past 4 days after that, I havent been able to fall asleep until 2 and then I wake up at 5. After I wake up at 5 I am able to go back to sleep, but it sucks because I end up sleeping until12 everytime. Does anyone know how I can get my sleep schedule back on track because this fucking sucks...

Google circadian rhythm. It's your biological clock. If you go to sleep at the same time every night, then the clock becomes "set" to that time. That's how animals always go to sleep at the same time each night.

So maybe try to fall asleep a little earlier and earlier each night and "set" it to a different time. I don't know haha just my two cents

Alright here is what I do....First of all have the temperature lower than usual...then think what position do you always wake up on (Sleep on stomach? Back?) Don't drink caffiene for at least an hour before you plan to hit the hay...Think of skiing, and what tricks you would pull as you hit a 50 foot cliff...Good sleeping

Smoke a bowl of a indica dominant strain of weed (i would suggest Golden Goat) before bedtime and you should be fine.

less specifically, any weed should get the job done. smoking before bed not only puts you to sleep fast, but it keeps you asleep. i've also found that i wake up more easily and feel more refreshed the next morning.

happens to me all the time. The only way I can fix it usually is by staying up all night and through the day and then crashing pretty early.

Not eating can adjust circadian rhythm easily, hence why travelers don't eat to combat jet lag. Try that.

Also, get stoned/jerk off/take ambien

It's not not eating. It's eating for the time you want to adjust to. So right when you wake up, eat lunch, eat dinner at 7:00 or whatever and then don't eat until the next day.

ya i take melatonin. it comes in chewable gummy peises and even with waking up at 6;40 i can regularly get 8+ hours of sleep

I had this same problem staying up watching youtube videos all night, then sleeping till noon.

First off you've got to get a routine, set an alarm at 8 or 9 and get your day started. Stay active during the day, and stay off the computer or t.v. right before you go to bed. If you stay up till 3, but set an alarm at 8 and get up you'll be tired by 10 that night.

melatonin is good cus you actually produce it in your brain naturally when your eyes are in dark instead of light. all those other drugs are grodie imo. if your gonna do something either drink a glass of milk, melatonin, or a nice joint or bowl-just one should put you into a pretty good sleep, tolerance or not.

What are you talking about? Goat is a sativa dominant hybrid.

I think any bud and some melatonin will get you to sleep. The pot helps you fall asleep and the melatonin will keep you asleep. Be careful though. Melatonin will make me sleep for too long. I take the melatonin about an hour and a half before I fall asleep and get 8 or 9 hours of sleep. I use alarms and force myself to wake up, no matter how tired I am. I get a good breakfast and some coffee in me and I am a new man. It's important to take the melatonin well before you go to sleep because it will make you feel drowsy for about 12 hours. I don't like waking up drowsy or sleeping threw my alarms because I'm sleeping deeply.

I will smoke an hour before I intent to go to sleep. Regardless of the strain, I get energized when I'm high so, I try to sleep when I crash.

If you need something more to reset your clock or start a new sleeping pattern, don't sleep. Go a day or two without sleeping (depending on how much you can tolerate). That will give you a good opportunity to start over again.

Also, instead of focusing on falling asleep at a certain time, focus on your wake up time. Splitting my focus doesn't work for me. I think being strict with your wake up time is more worthwhile. If I get up at 8am every morning, even if I fall asleep at 4am. The longer I keep with that 8am wake up time, the earlier I went to bed. This also helped me in college. I trained my self to work this way, so I could party night before a final, wake up at 8am and ace the final. Coffee and an inability to be hungover also help.

I had a lot of sleep issues during school summer breaks. This is just what I learned in dealing with that.

wake up at the same time every day and stay awake. do more active stuff during the day so that you are tired come time to go to bed. when you wake up eat something and start moving. this will wake you up and you will also be more tired at the end of the day. you will probably be sleep deprived for the first couple days but after that you will reclaim all those productive hours you are needlessly sleeping away.

Heavy indica, Benadryl, Kava, Valerian, zzz quil, xanax, melatonin, alcohol, tryptophans, and milk do the trick. Don't do xanax without a prescription tho

I get jetlagged relatively frequently, and all I can recommend is making sure you wake up at a sensible time then be active during the day. Then if you do need to go to sleep make sure your room is dark and don't use your laptop for at least an hour before you want to go to sleep, the light can fuck with your brain.

it's just gonna suck waking up the first few days, nothing you can really do to make it easier.

to op: just don't go back to bed after you wake up at 5. If you don't sleep those extra hours you should be tired enough to go to bed earlier than 2 am. Or do the all nighter thing, but I doubt you'll need something that drastic.

As a chronic insomniac I can relate.

Weed is great for getting to sleep but it robs you of REM sleep. You skip your REM cycles when you are alseep and high. So you'll definitely get to sleep but it won't be the best sleep. This is why you'll sometimes feel groggy when you wake up the next day.
