Yes but the gnar factor had a lot to do with that, he doesn't have nearly the amount of technical tricks that andreas does.

Also, who else has been in the game as long as him and is still killing it that hard in the park without switching to big mountain/powder? tanner gave up park, Mayre did too, CR's not around anymore, spence only works behind the scenes now, and what happened to vanular? All I can think of is JP but he does his own thing too.
