Messed/Crazy up Families

Surely I can't be the only one with a horribly awkward family.

My ex stepmom got upset at me today because I failed to see a facebook post from her new (5th) husband congratulating her on graduating from the U of M.

Anyway, sweet breakdown.

Stepdad who is haitian and has the coolest family ever. His dad received an award from the NAACP for being the first black principle in Minnesota... his great grandfather was Abraham Lincoln's Barber.. So yeah, awesome fucking step dad.

On my mom's side, my uncle was an international drug dealer for years until going through some crazy life change and now he is some sort of champion cycler.

I have some cousin's who's father is a multi multi millionaire and lives in a 13 million dollar house in Beverly Hills... But they are crazy spoiled. One of them got preggers at 19, the other got arrested for driving her mercedes into a pizza shop and claiming someone stole it.

Then there is my ex stepmom who we recently discovered that my dad was actually her 3rd husband. She got half of everything after 2 years of marriage and right after my dad got his inheritance. Now she's on husband 5. I'm still expected to wish her 4th husband's children merry christmas.

It's fun when I get to say things like, "I'm going to my ex stepmother's 4th ex husband's daughter's graduation party."

So please tell me stories of your disaster of a cousin so that I can feel a bit more normal.

Ive always wondered how close you are to your brother and sister. Like I go over to my friends house and they are talking to each other about their sex life and ive never talked to my brother about his social life at all.

my dad ran away from home at 18 and joined a carnival. He also has assault on an officer on his rap sheet, he's a pretty cool guy.

Grandfather on my dads side immigrated from Italy on his own at the age of 16, fought in the Korean War, never received past a third grade education or learned to read or write english but nonetheless went to work in metal factories once in the U.S. and did so until he retired with alzheimers.

My dad owns a small computer firm that focuses on consumer marketing and relations.

Mom was an architect who worked on countless well known buildings all over the U.S., every time we are somewhere I've never been she can point out a building or two that she helped design.

One of my Uncles used to fly acrobatic planes with Kirby Chambliss, he stopped but still uses his 6 seater for transportation purposes.

One of my cousins, Sal Caccavale, used to play for the NY Redbulls (MLS)

Another one of my cousins was/might still be in the Lingerie Football League

Well, my second cousin is a crackhead and got arrested for attacking her husband, the only reason her children haven't been taken away is that me and my parents are taking care of them for a week while she's in rehab. So slightly messed up.

Also a really wealthy family whose kids I used to coach, gave their kids pretty much anything they wanted, including any food they wanted. This resulted in one of the kids developing diabetes, and now he'll have to deal with that for the rest of his life.

Opposite ends of the financial spectrum, so in the end it's really down to how prepared and dedicated you are to take care of your children.

Granpa on moms side is Japanese and was in an internment camp in WWII as a kid
His brother stayed in Japan and is pretty high up in the Yakuza (Japanese mafia)

Dad was undercover cop and NARC in San Fran, Gm'd for local hill (Mt. Rose) and then quit there and now sells food.

My sister is a hormonal crazy bitch. She had a breakdown at dinner saying I (who has been back for a week and a half) am the source of her recent problems, even this has been going on for longer according to my parents

What's wring with your uncle being a champion cycler? He's turned his fucking life around and manned the fuck up. Your stepmom is a champ. 5 husbands and she still manages to please the newest guy? She must tone like crazy. And a muilti millionaire? Bitch you be trippin' the fuck out if you don't think das some crazy shit right there. Be more grateful for your incredible fucking family. My grandfather is 84 I believe and he still flys his plane for the coast guard. Pretty cool guy, still goes out and swims in the surf and stuff

It was initially just "messed up" but then I through in the /crazy without fully reading. I noticed as I hit submit and it was too late.

Your post contains 3 grammar errors; I'm really not very upset about this.


Aside from that, my ex stepmom has been really aggravating lately. She keeps trying to intervene in my life. All I can think is, "bitch, 5 husbands. Back off!"

Not my family but this happened in my town. This girls husband cheated on her so she destroyed everything. Also I used to live in that house. My dad said she was a crazy bitch that begged for 3 years to sell the house to her./claim

The Mormon church is an evil institution that uses the money it gets from the brainwashed followers in order to pursue selfish and evil means such as preventing people from gaining equal rights through influencing public policies and by "baptizing" the dead of other religions in order to claim they have another follower of their "church".
