What to do when you have mono?

So I was at the hospital for 8 hours today .
Was diagnosed with Mono.
I am looking for some helpful tips from people that experienced it.
What are the things I should eat or add to my meal plan to help me heal faster?
I also wanted to know how long it took you to recovery and if you saw a significant difference.
I think, I was used to being tired so I didnt realise it. But the big tonsils and swollen neck showed up.
Of course I know im not allowed to do physical activity.
I am also planning on finishing my semester but got a medical incomplete for my phys. ed. class.

I remember when i had mono, i had half days at school, literally the worst experience ever. I just watched a lot of tv, and did cool things on photoshop.

I felt like I had the flu for like a week and then literally felt completely normal other than some very mild fatigue, which disappeared after another week . My spleen staid swollen for about 3 weeks tops and was good to go after that. I got off easy. I've heard horror stories from other people.

I had mono in like 5th grade. I have no clue how I got it.

Op just sit on ns and sleep all day. Doing anything else that actually involved trying blows.

sleep. i got it before fall break and got home and literally slept 14 hours a day for a week. i think i left my house and hung out with friends 3 times that week, including going to dinner on thanksgiving. it sucks but its the only way to get over it, i had it for a few weeks prior but couldnt slow down with school, which was horrible

I had mono like 2 months ago. The best thing to do is just sleep and find some tv series to watch
It sucks but the more you sleep and rest the quicker it will go away

When I got it I didn't get tired, I didn't get swollen, I just got THE worst sore throat ever. I couldn't eat or drink anything for the 1st day. After about a day I found out that for some reason I could tolerate coffee (Don't ask me why but it worked, maybe give it a try) and strawberry yogurt (couldn't tolerate any other liquid or food, including water). Lived off of those two for 4 days. Literally couldn't swallow, coughing killed, and I couldn't sleep cause of it. It's definitely hell but it started subsiding after about a week-a week and a half. Just hope that you don't get the throat problems I did and if it does start to get like that go get yourself some steroids

Get tonsils removed, GET SYRUP

Or do a nice CWE and then make syrup

Videogames if you can muster up the thinking power. Watch netflix series's. Game of Trones and Breaking Bad are great if you haven't already watched them. Masturbate. Stay off jah herb unless you can vaporize it without dying, or edibles. Either way, getting high made me sleep for a good 4 hours but killed me throat.

I played a lot of video games and slept, also drank a ton of water. It was the most sick I have ever been. 106 temperature, had to go to the ER

Literally just chill for a week or two. You don't want to rush into things too quickly and don't do sports till your doc clears you. You dont want a burst splean.
