Itís a comforting feeling, going out on top, after the mag won two Maggies for our December issue and one for best use of social media. Three years ago, nobody on staff had Twitter and today weíre winning awards for excellence in speaking to the POWDER readers. Very cool.
POWDER gave me the opportunity to see the world and for that I will be forever grateful. Iíd like to thank the entire Grind Media staff for memories that I wonít soon forget and the POWDER staff for being an extended family.
Jake Moe, one of POWDERís co-founders, said the secret to life is to ďmove to the mountains, have a ton of great friends, and ski your hearts out.Ē As such, Iíve moved to Truckee, California, and can be reached via email at RoggeM85@gmail.com. If I donít get back to you right away, itís because Iím working on that third part of Jakeís advice.
