Its a good show and all, but I think its had its run by now.
140 episodes is a lot and I'm kind of sick of the show. Let it go off the re-run heaven where I can sit calmly at 1:30am pondering the decisions of Bender while half-drunk and falling asleep

Meh, Matt Groening was spreading himself thin between Futurama and The Simpsons. Maybe now all of his creative energy can go to The Simpsons, which is worlds better. This happens a lot, Family Guy is so much shittier now that McFarlane has two other shows to worry about. Both of which pale in comparison to the original.

futurama was actually pretty funny

not as good as the simpsons obviously but i thought it was still good, and im sad to see it go (even though i have barely watched any of the apparent 140 episodes there are)

true. it's a shame about the simpsons, cause the older seasons were fucking gold, whilst the newer ones are... cheap in comparison. maybe i just dont like the new, "good" animations and all, but still, the humor has changed. i'm also a fan of futurama but damn, the simpsons any day

i always liked it, was funny and kind of a "realistic" yet still entertaining vision of the year 3000. obviously it will be completely different and barring some kind of currently unthinkable long-distance transportation, this whole alien thing wont work, but they had a lot of nice little details all over their universe
