Anybody that has Mad Trix, I just got a new pair and I'm wondering whether having them mounted at the big air setting is far enough forward to be good for carving. Also, how much of a negative effect does mounting them forward have on their performance on the rest of the mountain.

Yeah i just bought madtrix and i was wondering the same thing...i work at a ski shop and the tech said that you really shouldnt mount them big air cause its too far forward. Im gonna mount them for big mountain but im gonna mount them forward about 4 cm. 8 cm forward is complete center mount but my tech isnt too fond of center mounting...any help would be veeeeeery much appreciated here fellas

I have them, mount them big mountain and they are good for both park and mountain. Do not use the system either, it adds weight and isnt that great.

Yeah, I have them about a couple inches back from center and i love them. You defenently want more tip than tail, if you ski anything outside the park

yea thats exactly it, i have the 03s though but they should be similar if not exactly like the new ones. A few inches back from centre is sick and you get alot of control of the ski

Mount them big mountain, and put them 3cm forward of the suggested line. It's a tried and tested formula for success.

i have two pairs... mount them big mountain...+2 -> +5 whatever you like. +4 is prolly good.
