i just got mine out. just chill on the couch for 2 days playing videogames and popping vicodin, i was find. plus after the first day the pain goes down a little bit so if u wanna keep the vicodin for fun times just take some advil or something.

he said he doesnt like to perscribe hard meds like vicaden(sp?) so im stuck with tylenol ex. strength.

my doctor prescribed tylenol 3 with codine and APO Ibuprofen ... but i got really itchy from the codine so i went back and i got toradol... none of it made me crazy tho... i was kinda disapointed

Yeah, I had codine and penicillin for medication, plus this other stuff to stop me from getting nauseated from the pain killers. For the operation, they pretty much just relaxed me with some pill that made me pass out a bunch and look totally sick, but not put me to sleep, then when I came somewhat back to normal, I went home and put ice on my jaw. MAKE SURE YOU DO THAT for the first 2 days or so. Then, make sure you put heat on your jaw if you plan on eating larger food in the near future. If you tend to get constipated on meds (most people do), I would suggest taking laxative maybe every other day or whatever the recommended timing is.
