I'm starting to change my mind. I think that the answer to our 'if triples are good' argument lies at simply trying to flip as many times as is humanly possible.

I support octuples.

That could be part of it - you need to be able to withstand the G-forces of that much flip acceleration.

Plus we need jumps that are super kicky and shoot you like 120' in the air.

Yes absolutely. They will basically be 32' quarterpipes that are undervert with tonnes of transition. The landing will extend 200' below.

Athletes may have to wear rocket boosters and special robotic leg strengtheners to get speed and withstand the forces of transition.

the length of slopestyle courses could be radically shortened as you dont need 80 foot jumps. just a couple 30 foot tall table/spine jumps. its all about the altitude.

this might be true, if judges were only looks for style, which unfortunately isnt the case. Freestyle skiing is leaning towards the bigger the better attitude. All they want to see is triples. Its spin to win these days. FUTURE SPINS is all they care about.

This actually could be a huge advantage to skinny jeans/pants. They could actually contain compression elements that keep blood in the upper body under extreme centrifugal force.

I can see it now... dude that deca cork mil was so ill.

No, quads are permitted. They are just too risky to throw in contests. But aerialist have been pulling quads for 20 years now, just not in the contests.

All I can say about trips and quads is :if you need this to feel alive then by all means. Just dont bitch when you fuck up and break your back.

I knew they had done them, but I wasn't aware they were legit in contests. I totally thought that in most contests they were banned. My bad. I should update my statement to say that aerials don't do quads regularly, and they will still have to bow down to us as the flipping masters when we're doing quads and quints all day long.

You are correct though, people gon' die.

I guess if a future spin has to be at least a 2160, then a future flip would have to have atleast 6 flips (2160/360=6).

Fuck more flips. Less flips are way better. Hucking your body through the air and seeing how many rotations you get around and praying you land it because you dont want to die, is NOT free skiing. Disappointed in the rout of skiing.

To be fair, "freeskiing" has nothing to do with what your doing on your skis, but more the freedom to do it. You putting boundaries on freeskiing is would be the exact opposite of freeskiing.
