Jon Brogan - "Right Back Where We Started" segment

I continue to be amazed when I login to this site and see yet another Jon Brogan thread. The same couple edits always get reposted and kids wonder, when will he be back, where is he!? Well the disappointing truth is he probably won't be caught on camera wearing skis ever again, he has moved on.

I hadn't seen this little segment of him anywhere its from a movie i made a couple years ago. It's been buried in the full length version. Enjoi more rarely seen Brogan.

luckily people pay by credit hour, not by year. 7 years doesnt necessarily mean it was any more expensive than 4 or 5 years.

He has residency... If he has lived there for a few years there is no way he is paying out of state

He's a person too. I'm sure he just had an ambition to do something with his life outside of skiing. Im pretty sure he didn't just "quit". If you love a sport enough to make it your source of income, it's pretty difficult to just stop and never ski again

how is he paying for his daily living, traveling expenses, and college?

either parents or from his winnings as a super pro. Non super pros would have a damn hard time paying for his living situation the past 7 years: ski all day and dont work from january to june, take shit summer job that pays room and board and not much else, pay for house in new zealand for a few months, then go to expensive school in the fall while not working.

thats what i am saying.

This. I really don't understand how a group of kids can be so creepily obsessed with a kid's "skiing style." It's actually pretty fucking creepy and I'm sure Brogan looks at these threads and laughs/gets extremely creeped out at times. THe kid is in his mid 20s, let him live his fucking life. He doesn't give a shit about your life, why should you about his?

both of you get off. We love brogan because he is an influence to the style and progression of skiing. Even after he left 3-4 years ago we still remember because of what a stamp he left on the community. We keep going back after tricks, jump after jump, rail after rail because we love the sport, yeah we will get older and not be able to always do freestyle but we still want to ski and have a good time trying to be as good as we can get before out time is up.
I'm 99% sure Brogan is 22 because he said in an interview last year he was 21...so yeah, we let him live his life but we just miss him. You loose a relative, someone close, or someone who meant a lot to you or looked up too, sure you're gonna miss him/her/it. If he didn't care about our lives, then he wouldn't have cared about skiing. Peace kid.

I enjoyed watching him ski just as much as the next guy, but I wouldn't go comparing his quitting skiing to the lost of a relative or something haha. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

I know NS is the last place to drop this line, but it seems like a lot of people need to let this shit go.
