First off i want to say how fucking stoked I am for McRae.. its been so long overdue for you man and you finally get some credit for how fucking ill you slay...

next, to the kids that are some how saying that tom should have won (even though he placed 6, rightfully so), on the run he put down, its pretty easy to say that it wasnt as clean as McRae (sloppy 6 out, slight handdrag, and pushin the 4 around on the last feat), while only being slightly more tech on jumps (dub12 vs left9).

super stoked for McRae!
and everyone for killing it on that mini course

i think wally should have been 3rd. he's run didnt look as mechanical as gus and russ. Really thought Jossi was gonna win that one.

I don't know how many of you have watched the Arctic Challenge in norway, but the scoring system they use is way better than the one they use in the x-games/dew tour etc.

The riders get a score on every feature, from 0-15. Then all those scores are added together, and then you they get a "flow score" from 0-10/15 where they judge how smooth the run was. The riders then know where they are losing points. It is also a lot less frustrating to watch, and you can compare tricks to trick and not just runs to runs.

I honestly believe Jossi should have won, stoke for McRae and his run was sick but I feel that Jossi went harder. Not to sure it the butters should have won it for McRae.

A huge congratulations to McRae, kid earned it and it's been a long time comin.g He has been skiing at such a high level for so long and has been ripped off at so many comps in the past, it's really nice to see a good guy catch a break. Hopefully this is the first of many to come for Mr. Williams!

Tom did not put down his best run. I dont think he should've won either. Kenworthy was very close tho in my eyes and according to judges

Jossi and Gus have more of an argument to have should've won than Tom... I think McRae deserved it, the judges needed to place emphasis on landing whole runs clean, it will separate everyone in a time of all doubles.... I think McRae's rails might have made up for the 9 off the first jump... but his run was so sick, him and Jossi have the best sw right doubles in the game... Gus' run was stomped, Jossi's along the same lines but better... But I think the judges got this right, kind of, but they sent out a certain message... Saying if you gonna do all dubs they need to be super clean along with your rails... Because McRae's sw right 10, and sw left 10 doubles were the best in the field today... Grabs/landing... Gus, Tom, and Jossi all had certain points were they wobbled (barely noticeable), but I think this is what the difference is going to be as we move forward... I don't want to take away from McRae's win... But we have to remember Woods, Harlaut, and Goepper were not in finals...

I think Gus may have been less highly scored because he did the same trick twice( pretty sure) which was switch 2 on, pretz 4 off. otherwise, he definitely did not wobble or make a mistake

that run was smooth as hell... I didn't watch any of the other runs, but props to him for winning w/o all dubs in the jump section, and his rail sections were proper as hell.... he was reverting/buttering on purpose and at the same time each run, not b/c he was out of control, which makes it part of his slope'style' (always thought that name was weak to begin with), so even if it doesn't fit into your definition of a butter (who has one/really wants one anyway?) fuck off everyone bitching.

that's the kind of run we hoped we'd see back in 2002 and shit.

That's why I said barely noticeable... Gus' 450 on last rail was sketchy, jossi almost fell on his ass after his 2nd to last rail. I think jossi's 630 on put him ahead of Gus, and his dubs were better looking.

I never said Tom should have won. His run was not even top 3. It just amazes me that Mcrae gets 94+ for his run while Tom had 86. Don't go all personal on me and call me "kid". A screen makes you big i guess
