Seperated my shoulder today
Fuckd up my whole shit any recommendations PT. I planned on skiing tomorrow cus it's snowing out..bad idea NS? Anybodody ever have this injury it's a stage 3 shoulder separation.
once isn't bad, just ice it and be careful skiing. when you start doing it often go see a doctor. i should have gotten surgery on mine 3 years ago, and separate it just about every 3rd urban spot. look up rotator cuff exercises on google, they seem to help.
get that shit checked out, i went in for rotator cuff surgery and my doc found like 4 other things wrong
I don't think Stage 3 is anything to sneeze at. I had a Stage 1 earlier this season and it kept me out for a week and bothered me for weeks afterwards.
I'm pretty sure in Stage 3 the tendon separates from the bone so you are probably going to need surgery at some point unless you want a weird bump protruding from your shoulder/AC joint the rest of your life.
Uhhh. I had a 2nd degree seperation a few years back, not so much a painful injury as it is annoying. Shit just always feels sore and I couldn't sleep on it. I just threw a sling on for a week, and like someone said up there ice is great. I was an idiot and started skiing in a sling and if you fall on it again its not that great. Haha
