blading is way sicker than skateboarding because its more full body movements like skiing where skateboarding is more technical stuff with your feet like hakisac. i feel like i can use the skatepark to the full portntial on blades where as skateboarders rarely do unless ur really good.  i can do backfliups and 7's on my skates pretty eaisly off a good launch box. deffinatly helps with balance and skiing abilitys.

Watch Vert and tranny skating from Raven Tershy, Gravette,  Daewon Song. Thats fucking tech, and 10x's harder then riding around on rollerblades. They are making insane movements while using their feet in order to stay in control. On rollerblades you just need to know the basics thats why it's so easy to pick up if you ski. You arent strapped in to the skateboard which makes it so much gnarlier.

Blading is sick when they have good style and mimic tricks done in skiing but other then that its fucking aerials. And aerials are fucking gay.

I agree with the guy who was talking about skating being like hacky sack and blading being more like skiing in the sense that your body is the instrument where as skating is like 50% board 50% body movement. but I also agree with lolocaust that it sucks to watch and that's why it's dying. if I had to pick between the two I'd rather just blade because it's more fun to me and I have big (14) clumsy feet which causes me to struggle with the basics of skating.
but I just run and trampoline in the summer so I'm pretty neutral. skating is definitely more fun to watch though.

before some time in 2007 it didn't keep track of when comments were posted.
there used to just be no post date/time, but in the last year or two the website changed all the posts with no dates to dec31, 1969 or whatever it is.
