Hey guys I'm doing this question for an essay in my transfer application. I have a few ideas already, but wanted to know what you guys thought.

Stephen Hawking asked the question, "What is the probability of life existing elsewhere in the universe?"




SO..




Theoretically if life does exist elsewhere in the universe, and you could send one thing or object to represent the human race, what would you send, and why?

Yeah, like an Octave is actually a frequency halved. So our system of music built around all these specific intervals and frequencies might actually be something they could decipher, at least a little bit. Pretty cool idea. I mean, if they were intelligent they could definitely get something out of it.

But really, they sent us Mushrooms, so lets send them LSD. I think thats a good plan.

given the size of the universe, its more likely than not that there is an exact copy of you somewhere out there, let alone life in general. id say its almost a guarantee that there is life somewhere else out there, especially since amino acids have been found on asteroids

I agree that there is some form of intelligent life out there, but I don't think it will be anything close to us.
