What does bubbling on your pants/jacket mean?
Has the fabric lost waterproofing? Is it compromised/warrantable? Simple question.
I THINK it means that there is water underneath it, I forget what it actually is.
Same thing happened to me. It is delamination of the layers, caused by water getting between the layers.
What I did was tumble dry them on low, to try and evaporate the water out. Then I took an iron, on low-medium heat, and put a piece of fabric between the pants and the iron and moved it around quickly. This was to try and smooth the wrinkles.
The next step is to re-waterproof, either using a spray or techwash.
Its a sign that your garment is on its way out. You constantly need to re-waterproof to prevent this from happening again. Hope this helps.
its also a sign that the laminate was poorly bonded to the face fabric...
Yea it means moisture got inbetween the layers they arnt ruined yet but eventualy it will/could spread
How'd ya guess? Only had the bibs for a week so far. Thanks for the responses guys!
