No they haven't. If this actually happened I'm sure we would hear more about it on the news. Have you seen how much coverage they give when a dozen students get shot? Surely if hundreds of people had been shot in Chicago, it would be nonstop news

It's not some grand conspiracy.

murders in Chicago aren't national news because no one gives a shit when some hood rat gets shot.

Also I think there was a misunderstanding. I think he assumed you meant 519 shot in one occasion. Not over the course of the year

Banning guns probably won't do much. Any psychopath who wants to shoot up a school, will probably be able to find a gun to do so. Better yet, it's not like the government has enough money or resources to recall every gun that would be capable of shooting shit up.


The us should really focus on the mentally unstable people, rather than guns. That would probably end up doing more in terms of school shootings and stuff.

I believe it was murder rate per capita or something like that.. idk some sort of violence statistic in which Chicago was higher than Mexico.

I'm not sure if you're serious or trolling, but here in Chicago, most of the homicides that involve people other than gang members are broadcasted on the local news. National media doesn't care about it because not enough people died at once. National media can't broadcast each individual homicide committed within the US on a given day.

That whole thing about that innocent little girl getting shot up outside of her school in Chicago was blown way out of proportion and her death was used by proponents of stricter gun control laws as a means to their own end. Shootings like that happen on like a tri-weekly basis round here.

Yeah, there have been a couple of drive by shootings on campus here this school year.

January was a terrible month for Chicago. I'm sure all of those shootings were with registered guns too....
