basically all action sports mags are the same. random shit in the front, main article, interview, quick notes/contenders, maybe a column or two, the end. oh, and ads. lots and lots of ads, especially snowboard mags.
one of my favorite thing about snowboarding magazines (aside from being better in general) is looking at the ads, they usually all kick ass graphically. i wish ski magazines would step up to that and actaully put some time / creativity into their advertising. has anyone seen the glove ads in the latest freeskier? it brings the sport back 5 years
Those ads look cool, but have absolutely nothing to do with snowboards whatsoever...
'...Smoking's bad, smoking killed my dad. Yeah, he was driving down the highway one day and as he was lighting his cigarette, it blew out the window. So he jumps out the door to save it, and ran himself over. Uh, you mind if I smoke?' -Olie Ollaussen, Ski Bum extraordinaire
You think the Feeze will beable to go back to the way things were before transworld. i know it wont ever be the same but i liked freeze before they started to put Mcdonalds ads in the mag. From what i can tell Freeze was more popular then Feeskier. so what they took the mag and made it independent. Or started a new mag up to replace it
