My lab partner got an A and I got a C and he wasnt even there....

So got back a lab project, look at my grade and it is a C I was like oh well. Then I looked over to my lab partner (who was out the day the lab was done but his name was still on the top part of the project because he is my lab partner for the month)
and he got an A.

Should I straight up call the lab professor on the bull shit she is trying to pull or just take the C and be bitter about it?

Just ask him why your partner got a better grade than you, he could have mixed you two up or something so dont get angry until he is clearly fucking you over and thats when he doesn't change the grade.

There is only 15 people in the Lab if she mixed the grade up with some one else then she is a tard. Also each lab paper has each member name listed and the person whose paper it is name is in bold red. So if she fuck all that up wow.

At least you don't have asian students as partners, unless you do... I have two lab partners for inorganic lab this semester, but the non asian, smart kid had to miss today. So I had this asian kid that is known for fucking up. I ground up some ferrous chloride, and we were supposed to dissolve it in dmso, but he added it right into the reaction vessel. The iron oxidized (duh) and we had to start over. And he spilled half of the ground up FeCl2 when he was pouring it into the wrong thing anyway. And he broke a funnel. And he didn't know the structure of the molecule we were synthesizing. That's some n00b shit.

And by asian I mean like straight off the boat, bad english asian who only talks to the other asian kids.

No, inorganic chem lab/class. We do a lot of metal complexes, chemistry of the d block, identification methods, bit of quantum theory, all that stuff. I guess some also call it synthetic chemistry?

I was trying to synthesize ferrocene, which is an organometallic complex type of thing. A so called sandwich compound, which is a fitting name if you see it's structure. I get to synthesize a YBa2Cu3O7-x superconductor in a few weeks.

But in my organic lab like 2 semesters ago, there was this asian girl who would just go around and like inspect everybody else's setups. And by inspect, I mean stick her face like right next to my flask. She did the same thing in my instrumental lab any time I tried to fill a volumetric flask. I know we're trying to be precise, but her goggles don't need to be touching the flask to see how close to the line I am.

My favorite part of organic lab was when we synthesized vinyl, TA offered extra credit to whoever could make the longest continuous thread, I think I got 10 feet.

And yea, ferrocene. Iron sandwhiched inbetween two aromatic cyclopentenes. We just got done with our first chapter of organometals. Im super pro with grignards reagents.

But seriously, its terrible. I hate it and i want it to die.
