This might be a repost, but I couldn't find anything similar. Post any problems you are having trouble with here, and if this thread works like it is supposed to, someone else will help you with it. I'll go ahead and start this off:

Create a third degree polynomial that has roots at -2 and 6i and goes through the point (0,4). Write your final answer in standard form.

I honestly don't even know where to start on this one..

it ask for him to use implicit differentiation.

cos(x+y)=x
-sin(x+y)(1+dy/dx) = 1
1+dy/dx = -csc(x+y)

dy/dx = -csc(x+y)-1

is that right? I hope so or else I have to refresh on my first year calc!

i've watched too much khans academy and need to go to bed +k for any help
solve:

(x^2)dy/dx+9xy=9

its not exact or homogenous as far as i am aware

2x-11 = x
2x = x +11
x = 11

check:
2(11) -11 = 11
22 -11 = 11
11 = 11

Anybody good at line integrals and greens theorem? Absolutely desperate here, have spent a good amount of time on this and need help so i can continue with my revision and i have just a week before my exams.

^meant to be an integral sign.

where c consists of the arc of the parabola y=x^2 from (-1,1) to (1,1) Hence compute the integral to confirm your answer.



so i know how to do it pretty much, you do greens theorem and then minus the path of the straight line y=1 between the two points.
