IOC just dropped wrestling from the Olympics out of nowhere. no idea what their reasoning is, but it's probably dumb.

I got all excited for a second because I thought you were talking about the spandex fairies that call wwe or whatever the hell it is wrestling but then my hopes and dreams were ruined once I opened this thread. I HOPE YOU FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF! But seriously that sucks that they dropped it from the olympics..

this is very unfortunate

ever since i was young, I've always loved the physicality of wrestling, the closeness of two men in combat, the strategy and pure strength of the competitors. Needless to say, the act of pleasuring myself to wrestling matches became the utmost of "feeling good". It started in high school, I was team manager, and would hide in the bleachers during matches and passionately fump myself the whole day. Slowly, these meets became mediocre, they were still amazing, but the sport at such a young age still included some fatties, as well as some very skinny boys. I began going to the olympic qualifying matches, they were simply beautiful. I could not believe the muscle mass on these men. I almost broke my own rule of no videotaping the matches, it was unbearable. I then traveled to the olympics. I watched every single mens wrestling meet. From beginning to end, my little meat pal was bouncing between my thumb and forefinger. As the tournament came to a close, I vowed to only pleasure myself to olympic wrestling matches, they were by far the best, and the wait would make them that much more orgasmic. I still can't believe they're over, but at least I will always have the memories.

Never watched it nor do I really care, but it is ridiculous that they got rid of it. I know A LOT of people that are super pissed about this. Anyone whose ever wrestled, either competitively or for fun knows how much strength and endurance it takes. But what does piss me off is all the wrestlers bitching about fencing and other sports now. Yea, your sport got taken out, theres no need to bash others cause of it

I am huge into skiing and have been skiing for the past 20 years of my life. However, in high school, I unintentionally started wrestling after trying out for the basketball team and not making it.
Not only is this sport the toughest (mentally and physically), but it is the original olympic sport and the oldest sport known to man. The training, pressure, and just plain intensity that goes into this sport is unparalleled and I developed such a strong respect for it even after I let it go and didn't pursue it past high school.
Those who try and make fun of it because it's "gay" and theres spandex are just ignorant pussies who could never handle this sport. Wrestling is as gnarly as gnarly gets and it definitely helps you become a tough individual and provides you with disciplines that you keep throughout your entire life. Hell, I even use the wrestling mentality in skiing whenever I am nervous because I learned how to channel that insanely nerve-racking feeling when I was wrestling.There's something about going out in front of a gymnasium full of people and just going head to head with another guy and see who the better/stronger man is.

Wrestling is the most fun and rewarding sport i ve ever done.

The feeling of physically beating another "tribes" best "warrior" is idescribally awesome, if not barbaric.

I was always a kid that loved to roughouse, so football and wrestling always appealed to me. I still love that shit.
