Lying to girls about being on a sports team for the sake of sex?

Okay, so here's the deal. I'm a freshman in college and I'm facing a dilemma. I'm not bad with girls, but I wouldn't go as far as calling myself a ladies man. (I would say that the average girl I hook up with on a weekend is in the B or B+ range depending on how much I have had to drink and where I end up for the night). However, I can't say that I have ever had sex with an absolute A+ smoke show kind of girl.

Given the context, here is my story. A couple weekends ago I was at a party at the "Lacrosse House" at my school, and I was having a good night. I go up to one of the hottest brunette girls I've ever seen and ask her to dance. She says yes, and as we are dancing she asks if I'm on the lacrosse team (I played in high school and she is not the first person to mistake me for someone who plays in college, but alas I am not good enough to do so). Anyways, I told her the truth, and she pretty much immediately lost interest. I can't remember exactly how the conversation which followed went, but it was something close to the classic "Oh, I need to go find my friends" kind of excuse. We danced for maybe another minute or two after that and then I never saw her again.

Anyways, If you were too lazy to read the story, Here is the focus of this thread. Is it a good or bad idea to lie to a girl who you don't know and will probably never see again about this kind of thing? Have you ever been in a situation like this?

Depends on if the girls are idiots or not. Went told a group my skinny ass friend was on the football team. They believed us simply because he was black. Those are idiots it will work on. Many will find out youre lying though. Whatever, give it a Whirl. I'm actually on the collegiate tkd team and compete at nationals and other tournaments, so I don't have to lie about being on a team haha.

I've had a gf for some time now so ive been out of the game, but whenever I'm with friends and girls ask what everyone does, I've been everything from a lawyer to a doctor to a professional skiier, to in the Olympics, marine biologist once (a la signfield) most recently I just moved from a ranch in wyoming to NYC practicing law-you get the idea.

See, that's the great thing about meeting people for the first time, you could literately be anyone you every wanted to be.

Yes. Go for it. I've used the pro golfer one several times. Most women don't know enough about golf, but they know that if you're good enough to be a pro, you probably have money. I don't care they are using me solely because i might be rich or semi famous. I'm in it for sex and it might be their chance to bang someone semi-famous. There is no downside to it as long as you aren't looking for something serious.

Dude you can just say you like to ski and explore the mountains. just this passed weekend I hooked up with this bomb chick, my friend tells me stay with her and not to leave her haha so I wasn't just drunk thinking she was hot. I was so damn crossed she just came over to me and we started chatting then she grinds all over me and we sit down smoke bowls and I just chill out as she is resting on me talking. Then she took me into a room with her friend. I think the solution is get really damn drunk and go after a hot drunk chick. It works for me, I was stumbling up and down the stairs hitting the walls and thats when you know you are sufficiently drunk enough for a good night.

I have seen older guys hit on freshmen chicks and strait up lie about graduating from the same school as them. Apparently I am told thats a good way to get poon especially at the beginning of the year.

Okay, to clear up any confusion...

I usually do not like lying and I would only use a lie to have sex with a girl in a very specific situation such as this one, in which she is shallow enough to only want me if I'm on the team.

If she isn't going to find out, then sure lie your ass off. I once told a girl I was a contestant on the show Silent Library, and last week I made up some story about a Chinese Nuclear Missile Controversy. Better to use a lie that isn't going to be easily found out though. She could just ask someone on the team and he'll say no you're not a player, and you're screwed. Gotta make sure it's safe

Erika you're misunderstanding the problem. It's not that the girl needs to be lied to, it's that the guys here don't have an ounce of personality and then have no choice but to make up lies and hope to god she doesn't expose them to be the bricks that they are.

Alright lying to girls is my specialty. When I go to you UVM I constantly tell people I go to school in new haven ct, then they ask where and ill give strong hints its Yale. Then say I'm visiting my friend because someone he knew died (I like to change it up.) I've made a formula about it. If you're at a lacrosse house you don't tell girls you're on the lacrosse team are way too many loose ends. You want to get good grades you have to study for the class. you want to make people believe your on a sports team, You have to do a little bit of research what's The coaches name get at least three players who's actually on that team. you got to do your homework (I actually memorize the Greek alphabet just so I can get into frat parties for free. I just say I'm in another frat from another school site the alphabet and I almost always get in for free.) So now that we covered that we need to get your base story straight. Pick a sport but it needs to be a sport no one cares about, swimming or dive team is a perfect choice. Make yourself sound like you're on A full scholarship to your school because you're such an amazing athlete. (And learn at least one of the envents and say you swim it.) If she keeps asking you questions about it just say you're tired from practice, and this is the last thing you want to talk about. you want to drink, then take her to get a drink and avoid the conversation. I would never go with the team sport because there's too many loose ends the girl might know the team and then you're made and need to leave the house. BUT REMEMBER I ONLY USE THESE LIES IF I'M VISITING A SCHOOL FOR THE WEEKEND. IF YOU'RE GOING TO LIE ABOUT WHAT YOU DO YOU NEED TO REALIZE IT'S FOR A ONE NIGHT STAND YOU CAN'T LIKE THE GIRL WANT TO CALL HER AGAIN OR DATE HER BECAUSE YOU LIED YOUR ASS OFF. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT DO THAT IF YOU WANT A SECOND DATE. Hope that helped

I mean yeah I could play the numbers game all night and I don't have to lie but I found out if I'm visiting another school that's the fastest way. I've never done research into another sports team, I just say I'm a pro skier or something like that. That part was just to help out the OP. And I've never done that at the school I go to now. But next month I'm going to UVM so I'll probably do it there.
